Project Cruiser’s Life 03: Adriana Mascoli Fontes + Alexandre Fontes on SV Pesto
03. Interview with Adriana Mascoli Fontes & Alexandre Fontes on SV Pesto/Brasil.
After leaving high powered corporate jobs, Adriana and Alex have been cruising with their kids since the summer of 2014. They have sailed down the Pacific coast from Seattle to Mexico and then crossed the Pacific to the Marquesas and Fiji. The interview was recorded on SV Pesto in spring of 2015 in San Diego and we have been following their adventures on their blog ‘The Family’s Gone Sailing‘.
This is the 3rd in a series of interviews with full time cruisers about their life, the reality of cruising, their experiences and dreams. When we started thinking about sailing around the world, we searched the internet for information on how it really is and we took every chance we got to talk to sailors and cruisers. While we were outfitting our boat in a marina in San Diego, we filmed our first interviews and continued after we cut the lines. The 11 questions frame what we wanted to know. We hope you find the information valuable and inspirational.
